Some Calves of 2009 by Whine Not Efficiency 052

The nursing cow above is Eaglehawk WC6061 A132, showing some rib from the heroic job she's been doing on her excellent heifer calf, Whine Not Elucidate ("Lucy") who is nearly six months old in this picture.

This is Whine Not Erudite ("Rudi"), a grandson of AMI 635E Flor De Mayo. Very neat sheath with not much dewlap but quite slick coated. (Compare with Excalibur below).

Whine Not Excalibur is a very different type from Rudi; deeper and even slicker coated. He also has a more pronounced dewlap and consequently a less tidy sheath.

The cow above is a highly respected Red Angus matron, Sandstone X804 who has produced a number of impressive Senegus calves, this most recent one being Whine Not Eureka.  Nearly six weeks old here, he is already well fleshed out with nice muscle expression; another good example of the vigorous Senegus composite.
